Sandy Riley
Story
Our team is honouring our husband, Dad, Gumnut and all-round legend, Kev Riley. He was taken from us in September 2006 at the age of just 56, after battling pancreatic cancer for 11 months. We are determined to make a difference and raise funds and awareness to ensure others don't suffer as he did.
In 2017 we will once again channel Kev's sense of fun by dressing up in purple. In previous years we've been 'Gumnut's Angels', 'Kev's Cowboys', 'Kev's Pirates', 'Riley's Royals' and Riley's Rockstars'.
This year we will be dressing up as 'RILEY'S ROBBERS' (his granddaughter's choice!), and would love you to join our team on the walk, followed by a 'cleansing ale' and a toast to Kevin.
If you can't join us, any contribution, great or small, will assist the Avner Foundation in achieving their (and our) vision - THANK YOU!
